Hsing I (also written Xing
Yi), formally called "Hsing I Ch'uan", or "Form-Mind
Boxing", is the oldest style that has been adopted
into the "internal family" of Chinese Martial Arts.
Perfering straight line motions, it is more direct
than its sister arts of T'ai Chi and Ba Gua (Pa
Kua).
The art of Hsing
I began around 700 years ago. It creation is
credited to military genius, Yu Fei, who is said to
have created the art to train his army in ancient
China.
